1. Teel Crossing I
Teel Crossing I will open this spring at the northeast corner of Teel Parkway and Main Street. The retail center will offer 20,020 square feet of retail, restaurant and office space. Some of the confirmed tenants include Primrose School of Frisco at Main and Teel as well as Mathnasium. Double Dip Frozen Custard will also relocate to this development.
2. Origin at Frisco Bridges
Origin at Frisco Bridges is a new luxury apartment complex slated to open in April. It will have 345 units with nine different floor plans. Amenities include two pools, a dog park, a common courtyard, a fitness center and lounge areas. There will also be a five-story parking garage.

Briarwood at Hickory Center, a proposed retail and restaurant center, is expected to open in April at 8845 Gary Burns Drive. The project broke ground Oct. 26. When it is complete, the retail center will have about 16,000 square feet. The project is currently under construction with the contractor working on the foundation.
Phase 2 of a Independence 121 Medical Park will be complete this spring.[/caption]4. Chapel Creek Homes
The lots in the final phase of the Chapel Creek Homes development will be complete this summer. Chapel Creek Homes features luxury homes located between Preston Road and the Dallas North Tollway. The final phase is located on the corner of Parkwood Boulevard and Lebanon Road. Once the lots are complete homebuilders will begin construction.
Briarwood at Hickory Center will be complete in April.[/caption]5. Independence 121 Medical Park
Independence 121 Medical Park opened its first phase in December at 5350 Independence Parkway. The second phase will be complete sometime in March or April, and the third phase will be complete in August or September. The medical office park, when complete, will feature about 44,000 square feet and house dental, orthopedic and general medicine practices. The project began construction in March 2015.

The Shops at Starwood will open the third and final phase of the shopping center this summer with nearly 40,000 square feet of space. The expansion has more than 26,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space and more than 11,000 square feet of executive office space. The shopping center is the home to small chains, such as Smashburger, and local businesses, such as Panache at Home.
7. Starwood Village
Starwood Village is a new shopping center with a total space of 52,200 square feet that will be located at the southwest corner of Stonebrook Parkway and Dallas North Tollway. It is expected to break ground this spring and is set to open in 2017. The shopping center will have two strip malls that will include a fine-dining restaurant.
8. Teel Crossing II
Teel Crossing II will open by fall 2017 at the northwest corner of Teel Parkway and Main Street. The project is being developed by Vance C. Miller Development, the same developer as Teel Crossing I. The retail center will offer 19,183 square feet of retail, restaurant and office space. There are no confirmed tenants as of yet, according to the developer.
9. Frisco Fresh Market
Frisco Fresh Market is a mixed-use development that will include a farmers market, retail, restaurants, residential and office space, and hotels. The development is expected to open in 2017. Frisco City Council approved plans in September, and the developer, Frisco Fresh Market LLC, is working with city staff to have the plans finalized by early summer. After that, utilities and streets will be built.
