Dozens of people holding American flags and noise makers formed a line outside of Strikz Entertainment today to welcome military families visiting the entertainment venue.

The event was part of Snowball Express, a non-profit organization that helps family members of active duty soldiers who have died since Sept. 11, 2001.

The families walked through the Walk of Gratitude that volunteers formed outside of Strikz and were greeted with cheers from the crowd and hugs from Frisco RoughRiders' mascot Deuce. Students from Frisco High School also greeted the families.

Once inside, the families received games and food provided by Strikz staff.
