Plano Mayor Pro Tem Lissa Smith was elected as vice president of the North Central Texas Council of Governments’ Executive Board.

The NCTCOG is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, and was established to help local governments plan for its regional needs.  The council serves a 16-county region centered around Dallas and Fort Worth that consists of more than 230 member governments.

“I am proud to have Mayor Pro Tem Smith represent Plano as the Vice President of NCTCOG,” said Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere in a release.  “She brings a wealth of knowledge on regional issues and her leadership is unquestioned.  Plano will be well represented.”
