Grapevine’s New Vintage Wine & Gallery Trail and Blessing of the Vines returns Saturday for its 25th year celebration.

This year the Blessing of the Vines will be held at Grapevine’s Town Square Gazebo, 325 S. Main St., at 10 a.m. Dignitaries and guests will experience a centuries old European blessing of Texas grown vines performed by a priest to ensure a bountiful Texas harvest. After the blessing, there will be live entertainment as well as a complimentary wine tasting, cheese and bread.

Also new this year, guests will receive their own one-year-old Champanel grapevine to take home. The Blessing of the Vines is free for all ages.

The celebration continues on with the New Vintage Wine & Gallery Trail from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Guests will be able to taste a variety of wines at Grapevine’s winery tasting rooms throughout the city. Works of art will be displayed across the city at the Grand Gallery, Tower Gallery, as well as at private art gallery and fine art working studios.

Tickets for the New Vintage Wine & Gallery trail are $45 and include three wine tastings at each of Grapevine’s winery tasting rooms, snacks and a commemorative wine glass. Participants must be 21 years of age.
