To break the record, Grapevine Mills needs 1,500 pumpkin carvers to participate. Attendees will receive their own pumpkin and a pumpkin carving tool set to take home after the event.
“This event will be an evening of fun for the whole family,” said Trudy Creswell, director of marketing at Grapevine Mills. “We want the entire Grapevine community to take part in this entertaining and historic effort.”
Pumpkin carving begins at 6 p.m. with the lighting ceremony at 7 p.m.
Children are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes during the event. The mall asks participants to refrain from toy weapons, scary or gory costumes, or masks to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere.
