FRIDAY-SATURDAY

1. Grapevine’s Palace Theatre presents classic films
On Friday, the Palace Theatre will screen “Cool Runnings.” Attendees wearing a patriotic shirt or jacket will receive a free small popcorn. On Saturday, “To Catch A Thief” will be presented.

FRIDAY

2. First Friday at the Farm series to celebrate Washington's birthday
The first Fridays at the Farm series features family-friendly educational experiences designed to teach life skills that were important to a Texas farm in the 19th century. This is the sixth year for the series at Nash Farm. This weekend the farm will celebrate George Washington's birthday with refreshments and games.

SATURDAY

3. GRACE holds community garden day
The GRACE Community Garden  provides an average of 1,800 pounds of fresh, organic produce each year to nourish families in need. Most of the produce grown from the garden is donated to the GRACE pantry. On Saturday the garden will accept volunteers to help plant cabbage, cilantro and parsley.

4. Vetro Glassblowing Studio & Gallery hosts Valentine's Day event
The Help-Create Hearts + Flowers event allows friends, family or couples to create a colorful glass heart or flower keepsake. Each participant selects colors from five pre-selected color mixes and applies the colors to the hot molten glass. Each participant then watches as a professional glassblower reheats the glass color in the 2,000-degree furnace before shaping the heart or flower.
