1. McKinney Ranch Parkway reconstruction
Paving on McKinney Ranch Parkway is substantially complete along the eastbound lanes. Construction along McKinney Ranch east of the McKinney ISD stadium is expected to be complete sometime in March.
Drivers should expect McKinney Ranch to remain closed from Hardin Boulevard to west of Collin McKinney Parkway until April 9 while construction occurs.
Timeline: April 2017-April 2018

2. Virginia Parkway widening
Paving of additional lanes along Virginia Parkway from Ridge Road to Bellegrove Drive is substantially complete. Contractors will begin work between Bellegrove and US 75 to prepare to widen lanes along this stretch of Virginia.
New signals at Crutcher Crossing and Mallard Lakes Drive are expected to be operational soon.
Timeline: March 2017-February 2019
Cost: $15 million
Funding sources: city of McKinney, Collin County, North Central Texas Council of Governments
3. FM 546 extension
Construction on this project includes constructing a new four-lane, divided roadway. Crews will continue working on paving operations on the 1.7-mile road. When complete FM 546 will start at McDonald Street and connect to the existing FM 546 east of Airport Drive.
Timeline: January 2017-October 2018
Cost: $17.3 million
Funding sources: state of Texas and regional toll revenue fund
