1. GRACE holds garden day to benefit food pantry
The GRACE Community Garden provides an average of 1,800 pounds of fresh, organic produce each year to nourish families in need. Most of the produce grown from the garden is donated to the GRACE pantry. On Saturday the garden is holding a major preparation date as the final harvest of garlic and cabbage is held. Volunteers are needed to spread soil nutrients on beds and weed around fruit trees and mulch.
