Visitors can explore Frisco’s early history as a small farming and railroad town at the museum. Tours are available through the museum and replica town.

The 6,800-yard, par 71 golf course is surrounded by scenic wetlands. The club also includes a golf shop, a clubhouse, and a bar and grill.

The 18-hole golf course is next to The Westin Stonebriar Hotel, which has a spa, pool and dining.

The park includes platforms for fishing as well as walking trails and a pavilion.

Frisco Commons Park
Frisco Commons Park’s stocked pond is open for fishing. The park also includes a playground, a veterans memorial and walking trails.

Shop the farmers market

Frisco Rotary Farmers Market
The farmers market begins in May and runs every Saturday until the end of October. Visitors can buy produce, food items and other goods from local vendors. The farmers market is run by the Rotary Club of Frisco.

Frisco Athletic Center
Visitors can splash in the Frisco Water Park, take a dive in the Indoor Aquatic Center or participate in swim lessons or water aerobics.

Frisco Commons Spray Park
Along with the spray park, Frisco Commons includes an amphitheater, trails and a veterans’ memorial.

J.R. Newman Spray Park
The park has a farming and barn theme and is named for the family that once owned the property.

The spray park is located within a 13-acre neighborhood park in the Shepherds Hill neighborhood.

Visit the dog park

Ruff Range Dog Park
This off-leash dog park has areas designated for small and large dogs as well as water for dogs. The park is open from sunrise to sunset and is closed every Thursday for regular maintenance.

Go ice skating

Dr Pepper Arena
Dr Pepper Arena, which houses the executive office and practice facility for the Dallas Stars, is open to the public for skating throughout the year. Public skate times vary by day, and prices vary by age range or group size. Skates are also available for rent. The rink also hosts skating lessons and programs.

Dash’s Track Disc Golf Course
This 18-hole disc golf course is placed in a natural setting within B.F. Phillips Community Park.

Members can break a sweat and get in shape at the center, which includes a fitness center, two gyms, racquetball courts, recreation classes and childcare.
