From the Texas Tunes concert series to TKO Libations grand opening, there are plenty of events taking place in Lewisville and Flower Mound this weekend.

1. Flower Mound’s activity center hosts open house
The town’s parks and recreation division holds an open house at the Community Activity Center to promote ways to be healthy. The event features fitness classes as well as giveaways. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Free. Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road, Flower Mound. 972-874-7275. www. ower-mound.com

2. Texas Tunes concert series kicks off
The seventh season of the Texas Tunes concert series begins Saturday with the father and son combination of Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Colin Gilmore. The series feature a diverse and talented line-up of performers from music halls and festivals throughout Texas who present great music in a variety of genres, but with a unique Texas flair. All concerts start at 8 p.m. in the Performance Hall of the Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. 3. Lewisville Ninja Warrior: Family Edition
Lewisville Parks and Recreation is sponsoring the 2018 It's Time Texas Community Challenge. Learn about what Lewisville Parks and Recreation is doing in conjunction with It’s Time Texas, a statewide health and wellness initiative that is dedicated to empowering people to lead healthier lives and build healthier communities. There will activities for the entire family, and a Lewisville Ninja Warrior obstacle course. 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Free. Frederick P. 4. TKO Libations celebrates grand opening
TKO Libations, a new craft brewery, has opened at the Castle Hills Village Shops. TKO Libations crafts all-natural beers, ales and lagers onsite, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, all using ingredients sourced locally. The brewery celebrates its grand opening on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. with a morning Zumba session in the Village Shops’ outdoor plaza, and with TKO’s doors opening at 11 a.m. for “Donuts and Beer.” There are family-friendly activities throughout the day including live music, a food truck, face-painting and balloon animals, and a special one-day cheese plate from The Salty Cow, a gourmet cheese and provisions shop.
