Pure Barre McKinney hosts free classes, open house
Pure Barre is offering free community classes Saturday. 6:30-11:30 a.m. (classes begin at 7, 8, 9 and 10 a.m.)  Free (must sign up for class). Pure Barre McKinney, 6840 Virginia Parkway, Ste. 135, McKinney. Tickets can be downloaded here.

Resolution Run 5k and 10k begins at Cinemark Theatres 14
This New Year’s themed race is open for all ages. Activities include a 5k, 10k, free kids dash, post-race food, vendors and more. 8-10:30 a.m. $22 (children 12 years and younger), $40 (adults). Cinemark Theatres 14, 1701 S. Central Expressway, McKinney. Tickets can be purchased here.

McKinney Farmers Market held in downtown
This local farmers market includes meats, dairy, vegetables and more. 8 a.m.-noon. Free. Downtown McKinney, 101 E. Hunt St., McKinney. More information about the event can be found here.

30-mile bike route starts at Tupps Brewery
Hosted by Cheesy Riders, a PepsiCo employee, family and friends cycling team, welcomes bikers of all skill levels to ride around town. Cheesy Riders will have leaders at different locations along the 30-mile route for directions and accommodations. 9 a.m.-noon. Free. Tupps Brewery, 721 Anderson St., McKinney. The Shot Spot offers low-cost pet vaccinations Saturday
The Shot Spot will offer low-cost pet vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventative medications for heartworm, fleas and ticks, nail trims, exams and more. No appointment is necessary. 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Pricing varies. CVS, 8953 Virginia Parkway, McKinney.
