1. Deepan Yetruvom dance production at MCL Grand
Deepam Yetruvom, a classical dance production by Shree & Girija, connects mythological stories to current times and tries to contemplate the question of "good and bad" as well as the relevance of celebrating festivals. General admission tickets are $10 per person and are available online at eventbrite.comThe production benefits the Association of India Development. AID is a nonprofit organization that promotes organic farming, provides education, health, relief and rehabilitation for rural, underprivileged people in India.

2. Cycle at Whole Foods Market
Cycle Bar of Flower Mound has cycles set up in the store from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. helping guests get a healthy start on the new year. There are also prizes and giveaways. Additionally, Whole Foods Market offers 25 percent off of all supplements, including protein powders, vitamins, and more for the weekend.

3. Cross Wave performs at Music City Mall Lewisville
Cross Wave, a jazz worship band, will perform at Music City Mall from 6-8 p.m. on the Dillard's Stage.
