HCA Houston Healthcare, which owns North Cypress Medical Center at 21214 Hwy. 290, Cypress, and Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital at 10655 Steepletop Drive, Houston, renamed the facilities in late January as part of a rebranding effort.

The hospitals will now be called HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress and HCA Houston Healthcare Cypress Fairbanks.

“We have changed our name to better reflect that we are members of HCA Houston Healthcare, the most comprehensive family of hospitals in the region and part of the leading provider of healthcare in the country, HCA Healthcare,” officials said in a statement on each respective hospital’s website. “Together we are stronger, smarter and more accessible in providing the patient-centered care you need close to home.”

HCA Houston Healthcare is a network of 15 hospitals across the Greater Houston area. The company acquired North Cypress Medical Center in September 2018 and Cy-Fair Medical Hospital in August 2017. www.hcahoustonhealthcare.com
