In honor of July Fourth, Moorhead’s Blueberry Farm will be open for special Thursday hours from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Berries are $3 per pound, and the farm accepts cash only. July 4

Life Giving Life Recovery Center will host a barbeque and potluck to celebrate Independence Day. There will also be music and several family-friendly activities such as volleyball, water balloon tag, badminton and more. Read to shelter dogs
July 4
For the dogs scared of fireworks and without owners to comfort them, the Montgomery County Animal Shelter Texas is inviting the public to read, sing to or simply talk with shelter dogs. Celebrate freedom

The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Freedom Fest, where the community can gather in the historic district to celebrate independence.
