AE Zone: Includes all areas subject to flooding in a 100-year event

A Zone: Areas subject to flooding in a 100-year event determined using approximate methodologies

V Zone: Areas subject to flooding in a 100-year event along the coast that face additional hazards from storm waves

AO Zone: Areas subject to flooding in a 100-year event along rivers or streams. Average flooding is typically between one to three feet and is related to sheet flow and sloping terrain.

X Zone (unshaded): Area of minimal flood hazard, outside the 500-year floodplain
