It’s official: Travis County officials vote to borrow $328.5 million for new courts facility


“We are not going forward against the vote of the people,” Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt said in response to the County Commissioners 4-0 vote–with Commissioner Brigid Shea absent–on Jan. 15 to borrow $382.5 million for a new civil and family courts facility.
