Week-long Heard Summer Nature Camps will feature opportunities to delve into the wonders of nature on our 289-acre sanctuary, encounter animal ambassadors, investigate nature-themed topics, and more! Pre-registration is required. Camp Bald Eagle Topics: Winging It – What makes a bird a bird? What kind of beaks and feet do they have? What is migration and who does it? Explore these questions and more! Branching Out – How many different things that come from trees do you use all the time? Delve into this amazing group of plants and discover their many roles in nature. Wetland Bioblitz – Be a scientist for the day and investigate what flora and fauna live in our wetlands. Color Me Wild – From bright to dull, light to dark, learn about the many ways color makes an impact in the natural world. Ecogames – our traditional end of the week celebration
