Based on a Colombian novel of the same name, The Future of Ismael is experimental sci-fi featuring queer people of color in a dystopian world where community, love, and rebellion allow trans post-humans to thrive. Generic Ensemble Company is a Resident Theatre Organization of the Dougherty Arts Center through the Museums and Cultural Programs Division of the Parks and Recreation Department’s Artist Access Program. Three weeks only.

Directed by kt shorb. Featuring: Tuyển Thai, Elian Sweeten, Adrian Clark, Grayson Hunt, Tessa Lancaster and Noé Lopez. Costume Design by Jana Zek. Stage Management by Margaret Jumonville.

Accessibility information:
Radical Generosity tickets available for those to whom general admission is an undue burden. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Deaf and Hard of Hearing patrons are welcome to ASL interpretation free-of-charge. Donations accepted at the door. DHH patrons who cannot make it to the ASL show can request a script.
