With Austin City Council’s approval of the area’s Corridor Construction Program in April, the Corridor Program Office on Aug. 22 will host an open house to share the latest information on improvements set for the Slaughter Lane corridor in South Austin.

The program is expected to improve safety and mobility in the Slaughter Lane area, one of many corridors with an improvement plan in place.

The Aug. 22 open house will be held from 5-8 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 3701 W. Slaughter Lane, Austin. Information will be on display and Corridor Program Office officials will be available to answer questions at the come-and-go event.
