Local business Articulture Designs will host a hands-on DIY class this weekend for participants to create a tiny living wall, one of the design firm’s signature creations. All materials will be provided, including a picture frame, plants and mosses, and natural embellishments. Beer, wine and soft drinks will also be offered. Support the children’s programs of the Central Texas Food Bank and Meals on Wheels Central Texas by checking out this preview party for the Austin Empty Bowl Project. Attendees can choose their own ceramic bowl to fill with five different gourmet soups, bread, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. A silent auction to bid on bowls signed by celebrities will also be held. Tickets cost $75 and can be purchased at the Central Texas Food Bank's website.
