Texas Community Music Festival

Central Market North Lamar will host the 12th annual Texas Community Music Festival on the cafe deck. Sixty musicians will be on-site, including Cilantro Boombox and Kupria Marimba. All ages are welcome. The festival will run every day until April 30.

Sustainable Food Center's Farmers' Market at Sunset Valley

Every week in Sunset Valley the Sustainable Food Center hosts local farmers at a Farmers' Market. Also included is a playground, live music, veggie sampling and food benefit programs.

Circle C Resident-Owned Business Fair

Businesses owned by Circle C residents will be showcased at this fair, during which 42 businesses will be on-site with product samples, giveaways, information and exclusive discounts and freebies. Vendors include Anago of Austin, Birth Tribe, Beautycounter by Danielle McBurnett, Fontsnob Inc., Mercedes Flowers, Realty Austin and Stella & Dot.

Festival of the Good & Grand Opening

The Goodnight The Goodnight is a 700-acre of Texas ranchland transformed into a community of single-family homes.[/caption]

This street festival will be the first community event in the new Goodnight development, located just east of I-35 in Southeast Austin. The street will be transformed into a celebration of "all things Austin," according to the development's marketing representatives. Live music, local food, face painting and other children's activities as well as craft vendors and giveaways will be available. Austin Public Library's bookmobile will be on-site, along with other local organizations, such as the Austin Humane Society and the Austin Parks Foundation.
