• The Oak Hill Business & Professional Association will hold its monthly luncheon Thursday featuring speaker Ira J. Siegel, a certified public accountant from Carpenter & Langford, P.C., who will discuss the important changes to the income tax code for 2016 tax returns. Summertime Cookout Guide Salt Lick BBQ, which operates locations in Driftwood and Round Rock, is serving up its barbecue at Moontower Saloon on Manchaca Road.[/caption]

• The Salt Lick BBQ now has a food truck at the Moontower Saloon. Salt Lick started serving food at the local bar in November on a limited basis and recently purchased a food truck, which it opened Jan. 10 on the property, Catering Director Shane Griffith said.

• A $2.4 million headquarters for Austin Freight Systems, Inc. off S. I-35 will be complete this August. The new building will eventually house up to 55 logistics coordinators and dispatchers along with administrative staff for the freight brokerage firm, which was established in 1996.

• Uber and Lyft may be back on Austin’s streets this year, according to Rep. Eddie Rodriguez, D-Austin, who told a group of residents last night that he expects statewide ride-hailing regulations to pass, thus reversing the vote Austinites took last May to mandate fingerprint background checks.
