Carrie Isaac has received 64.37% of the votes counted in the District 45 runoff ahead of Kent “Bud” Wymore, according to unofficial results published by both Hays and Blanco counties. Isaac has officially claimed victory on Twitter.

Two Texas House Republican runoff elections appeared on the July 14 ballot for Central Texas residents, and early voting totals show Carrie Isaac and Justin Berry with leads.
In District 45—which covers Hays and Blanco counties, including the cities of San Marcos, Dripping Springs and Johnson City—Isaac's 61.4% of early votes leads Kent “Bud” Wymore, according to data from both counties. The winner of the District 45 runoff will represent the Republican party this November against Democratic incumbent Rep. Erin Zwiener.
Berry leads the District 47 runoff after early voting, with 54.98% of votes compared to Jennifer Fleck's 45.02%, according to the Travis County Clerk's Office. The winner of the race will face off against Democratic Rep. Vikki Goodwin in the scheduled November election. District 47 spans an area that includes most of western Travis County.
