Early voting begins Nov. 28 for the Kyle City Council runoff election and runs through Dec. 9 with election day Dec. 13. The runoff is for the District 1 seat as none of the six candidates garnered more than 50% of the vote during the Nov. 8 general election.

Of the six candidates, Amanda Stark and Bear Heiser received 29.11% and 20.66% of the vote, respectively.

Registered Kyle voters can cast their ballots during early voting at Kyle City Hall, located at 100 W. Center St., Kyle, during these times:
  • Nov. 28-Dec. 1, Dec. 5-8 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Dec. 2, 9 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Dec. 3 from noon-4 p.m.
On election day, voters can cast their ballots at City Hall or the Hays County Precinct 2 Office, located at 5458 FM 2770, Kyle, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
