James Rios will open Grind House Coffee & Cocktails, 109 W. Center St., Kyle, on May 11.

The full-service coffee bar will offer coffee, espresso drinks, fruit smoothies and tea. In addition, Round Rock donuts, breakfast tacos, pastries, sandwiches and salads will be sold.

Rios said Grind House will introduce to downtown Kyle a business that caters to both daytime and nighttime patrons.

“The downtown area is becoming known as a nightlife district,” he said. “I’m trying to fill a void in the community by having an actual coffee bar people go in during the day but also cater to adults who want to come in after hours.”
