Open house scheduled for Buda Main Street Improvement Project

The city of Buda is hosting an open house on its Main Street Improvement Project, scheduled to begin construction on the week of July 22.

The city of Buda is hosting an open house on its Main Street Improvement Project, scheduled to begin construction on the week of July 22.

The city of Buda is inviting residents to learn more about its Main Street Improvement Project for an open house 4-6 p.m., July 18 at the Buda Municipal Complex, located 405 E. Loop St., in the multipurpose room, Room 1034.

First phase of construction on the improvement project, which will affect areas between Cabela’s Drive and Railroad Street, will begin the week of July 22 with the installation of a traffic signal at Main Street and E. Loop Street, according to the city website. The project is not associated with improvements planned at the intersection of Main Street and RM 967.

Cox Commercial Construction, the contractor for the project, as well as city staff will be available at the open house to speak with residents, businesses and property owners. The full scope of the project can be found at www.ci.buda.tx.us/budaconstruction.
