Owner Curtis Garcia said the restaurant will be closed for two or three months.
Renovations include making the kitchen bigger, adding a full bar and refurbishing the restaurant interior.
“We’re just giving it a facelift,” Garcia said.
Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant has locations in Kyle, San Marcos and Schertz.
