1. New grocery store could be in works for outskirts of Kyle

The Kyle City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance Jan. 4 to annex approximately 102 acres at the corner of FM 150 and SH 21 into the city of Kyle as it is adjacent and contiguous to the city limits but is technically on Hays County land.

2. Two new shops now open at the Tanger Outlets in San Marcos

The Tanger Outlets are located at 4015 I-35 S., San Marcos.


3. 6 new businesses now open, coming soon to San Marcos, Buda, Kyle

A handful of new businesses opened in early 2022, including El Arco Pupusas and Blind Salamander Cantina in San Marcos.
