International Games Day
International Games Day is an annual celebration of games, playtime and learning. Board games, puzzles and Legos will be available. 14th Annual Thankful Turkey 5K & Kids Run
The San Marcos Bluebonnet Lions Club and the San Marcos Runners Club will host the 14th Annual Thankful Turkey 5K & Kids Run. Participants will receive prizes of of turkeys, hams and pies. All proceeds will benefit local and Lions’ charity and youth programs. $30 registration on race day; Kids Run is free. Registration begins at 7 a.m., race begins at 8 a.m. The Kids Fun Run will begins at 9 a.m. First Baptist Church San Marcos, 325 W. McCarty Lane, San Marcos.

Rock n Rattler 5k Run
The choir at San Marcos High School is hosting its first annual Rock n Rattler 5k Run around the school facility. Awards will be given for top three finishers in male and female age groups. $35 registration on race day. Registration begins at 7 a.m., race begins at 8 a.m. San Marcos High School, 2601 E. The San Marcos High School Art Department, the Culinary Arts Department and the Walkers' Gallery will host the Community Empty Bowl Project to raise money for the Hays County Food Bank Turkeys Tackling Hunger project. For $20, attendees can fill hand-crafted bowl made by art students with chili made by culinary arts students. There will live music and opportunities to bid on bowls hand-painted by celebrities. 4-8 p.m. San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins, San Marcos.
