Efforts to directly assist those who have been impacted by the March 21 tornadoes are already underway in Round Rock. Local organizers are offering multiple ways for people to help and get help in the storm's wake.

Cedar Ridge High School

A distribution of food, clothing and other goods for families within the RRISD feeder pattern for Cedar Ridge High School is running until 5 p.m. March 23. Cedar Ridge is looking to provide donations specifically to families in this feeder pattern because that area of the district was hit the hardest, according to the district.


Dell Diamond

The city of Round Rock is collecting donations for those affected by the tornadoes at the Dell Diamond United Heritage Center. A list of specific needs is forthcoming from the city.


Austin Disaster Relief Network at Dell Diamond

The Austin Disaster Relief Network will bring a multiagency resource center to Dell Diamond from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. March 24 and 25, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 26. ADRN, the Red Cross, Catholic Charities, and other organizations will be at Dell Diamond offering assistance to survivors. Trained volunteers will be available to assist with emergency needs as well as spiritual and emotional care. ADRN asks that homeowners bring a photo ID, a current utility bill for their home and a photo of the damage in order to receive services.
