Amazing Magnets, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of magnetic-related devices and products, opened its new global headquarters at 1992 Steam Way, Round Rock, on Oct. 6. The company relocated from Anaheim, California, and faced labor shortages, supply chain issues and extreme weather events while constructing the building. Amazing Magnets manufactures rare earth magnets, magnetic glass and whiteboards as well as custom items for both direct-to-customer and commercial sales. Destination Pediatric Dentistry opened in late October at 3100 RM 1431, Ste. 400, Round Rock. Locally owned by practitioner Dr. Phil Matson, the practice offers cleanings, checkups, cavity care, fillings, and sedation for treatment and procedures among its services. Mojo Coffee held the grand opening of its Round Rock location Nov. 17. The Texas-based coffee chain, located at 3100 RM 1431, Ste. 100, offers specialty coffee beverages, smoothies, tea and lemonade as well as branded merchandise, such as T-shirts and coffee mugs. Second Swing Golf Balls held a grand opening Sept. 23 at 1801 Red Bud Lane, Ste. A, Round Rock. The secondhand golf ball shop offers a selection of used golf balls in good condition and retrieved from “hard-to-reach” parts of existing golf courses. Sharetea, a Taiwan-based retailer of boba teas that offers a variety of brewed, milk and fruit tea varieties, held a grand opening for its Round Rock location at 3107 S. I-35, Ste. 770, on Nov. 12.
