Travis County officials have shuttered two roads in the southern end of Pflugerville's extraterritorial jurisdiction as the area expects up to an inch of additional rainfall today.

The two portions of closed roadway along Killingsworth Road, just south of Wells Branch Parkway, were closed earlier in the week when the area experienced heavy rainfall.

Several roads remain closed in Round Rock and Hutto due to high water levels. Those roads have been closed since Tuesday.

Officials caution residents to avoid low water crossings during flooding periods and to actively look for water that may be covering roads. Drivers are advised to turn around if a road is closed or if water is covering the road.

The National Weather Service has placed both Travis and Williamson counties under a flash flood watch until 7 p.m. Friday evening.
