Here are the latest updates about several developments underway in Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto.


Round Rock









Blue Pointe Offices


A two-story office building is under construction at 2050 Double Creek Drive, Round Rock.

Construction went vertical at the end of May. Building completion is expected in early October, with tenant finish-outs beginning at that time.

“With new office space from 1,000-5,000 square feet, the proximity to Interstate 35 and State Highway 45, and nearby upcoming city developments, Blue Pointe is an ideal space for businesses,” said Dhruv Singh, the listing real estate agent with Weichert, Realtors—Barton Harris & Co., in a news release.

Forest Creek Office Park


The first phase of construction on the Forest Creek Office Park at 3309 Forest Creek Drive, Round Rock, was completed in June.

The individual office condos are 850 square feet, with stone and brick exteriors. Each unit includes four offices, a reception area, a kitchenette and a restroom that is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

As it stands, eight condos are available for sale, with nine more planned to be built within the next year.

Fire Station No. 3


A new fire station, located at 201 Sundance Parkway, Round Rock, broke ground Aug. 12.

Located in the La Frontera shopping center, the new fire station will replace the existing Fire Station No. 3 at 1991 Rawhide Drive, Round Rock. The new station will house a fire engine, aerial fire apparatus and a Williamson County EMS ambulance crew.

Station No. 3 will serve the southwestern Round Rock area, including La Frontera, the Chisholm Valley neighborhood and Dell campus.

Space: 11,500 square feet
Timeline: construction is expected to begin in fall 2019 with anticipated completion in late 2020





Pflugerville









Frankie Lane development


Located at 20700 Frankie Lane, the development includes two retail buildings and two warehouse spaces.

One retail building and one warehouse are expected to be completed by the end of September.

Space: 1,625-6,500 square feet (retail), 1,625-10,400 square feet (warehouse)
Timeline: full build-out by end of 2019






Victory City Church


Victory City Church, a Christian church anchored in Austin, will expand to a second location in Pflugerville in 2019. The church currently offers services at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Sundays, with religious-based activities planned for children between six weeks to fifth grade during service times.

Space: approximately 27,000 square feet

HUTTO









Project Durango


Hutto City Council approved a development agreement with MA Partners on Aug. 1 for the temporarily named Project Durango, a 95-acre development located near FM 1660 and Mager Lane.

The proposed mixed-use site will include 160 single-family homes, 288 multifamily units, 2.5 acres of commercial space, 4.8 acres for hotel and retail locations, and 4 acres of private parks, said Bob Wunsch of MA Partners in an email to Community Impact Newspaper. Site plans also outline hike and bike trails and upgraded lighting fixtures, Wunsch added.
