The Hutto Education Foundation today announced Terrie Doggett as its new board president, according to a news release from the foundation.

The Hutto Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 2006 and coordinates with Hutto ISD to provide funding for educational initiatives within the district. The foundation provides scholarships and grants to students, teachers and Hutto ISD staff for educational programs not funded by the state.

Doggett joined the Hutto Education Foundation Board in 2015 and was appointed Vice President of Development for the Hutto Education Board in January 2016, according to the Hutto Education Foundation. Per the release, Doggett was a founding member of Hutto YoungLife and currently serves on the Hutto YoungLife board.
