Wednesday, Sept. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 1: Dosa Festival
Kumar’s Austin hosts a five-day festival to sample varieties of dosa, an Indian pancake stuffed with chutney, paneer or other ingredients. The festival will feature over 25 separate flavors of dosa. Friday, Sept. 29-Saturday, Sept. 30: Get Outdoors Hutto
The Hutto Parks and Recreation Department hosts Get Outdoors Hutto, a weekend of camping family outdoor activities at Hutto Lake Park. Friday night will feature backyard camping and a movie in the park, and participants can enjoy fishing, rock wall climbing and archery on Saturday. Friday, 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. $10. Saturday, Sept. 30: Pflugerville Comic Con
The Pflugerville Public Library hosts its second annual Comic Con on Saturday afternoon. The free convention features Q&A panels, crafts, gaming and family-friendly activities. Guests for the Comic Con include New York Times' best-selling author Paul Benjamin, Marvel Comics and DC Comics artist Sam de la Rosa and many others. 1 p.m. Free. Saturday, Sept. 30: 26th annual Pancake Breakfast
The Round Rock Kiwanis Club starts off a long day of events at the Allen R. Baca Center in Round Rock with its 26th annual Pancake Breakfast. The meal includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and coffee, and all proceeds are donated to community organizations in the surrounding Round Rock area. 7 a.m. $5. Allen R. Baca Center, 301 W. Saturday, Sept. 30: Public Safety Day
Immediately following the Kiwanis Club’s pancake breakfast, the Round Rock public safety departments are hosting a meet and greet with additional activities at the Allen R. Baca Center. The Round Rock police and fire departments and Williamson County Emergency Medical Services will all be present to meet residents and present department equipment. Saturday, Sept. 30: Texas Craft Brewers Festival
The annual Texas Craft Brewers Festival returns Saturday to Fiesta Gardens in East Austin. Over 65 brewers will be present at the festival to pour their craft beer, made exclusively in Texas, for festival attendees. Sunday, Oct. 1: Harvest Fest
