Friday, Sept. 8: Parents Night Out
Brushy Creek MUD is hosting an event for children so parents can take a Friday night off. Children can enjoy sports, dinner, crafts, games and playground time, centered around the movie Moana. Friday, Sept. 8: Music in the Park
The city of Pflugerville hosts another concert in its summer concert series. Jennifer B and the Groove will take the stage at Pfluger Grove. Attendees can purchase food on site, use the playground and bring pets. No glass containers will be allowed. 6:30 p.m. (food available), 7:30 p.m. (concert starts). Saturday, Sept. 9: Sendero Trail 5K
To celebrate the newly re-opened Sendero Springs trailhead, Brushy Creek MUD is hosting another Brushy Creek 5K. Attendees of past Brushy Creek 5K races can track points across the entire series or just run this one race. All levels and ages are welcome to attend, including those with strollers and pets. Saturday, Sept. 9: National Planting Day

Saturday, Sept. 9: Pfurry Splash Party
For the first time ever, the city of Pflugerville is hosting a summer pool party for pets. A raffle will benefit the Friends of Pflugerville Animal Shelter and attendees are encouraged to bring donation items. Dogs must be spayed or neutered and current on vaccines to attend. Sunday, Sept. 10: Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam
Proceeds from the celebrity softball game and concert will benefit The Nolan Ryan Foundation and Reckless Kelly Charitable Youth Foundation. Immediately following the softball game, fans can listen in on a six-hour concert with more than 20 acts including Wade Bowen, The Peterson Brothers, Midnight River Choir, John Evans, Jason Eady and Brandy Zdan.
