Updated 4:12 p.m.: The description of the start-date of Round Rock ISD's academic calendars has been edited for clarity.

Round Rock ISD, Pflugerville ISD and Hutto ISD all host Board of Trustees meetings on Thursday, in addition to Hutto City Council's regularly scheduled meeting. Here are five things you need to know about this week's meetings.

1. Community meeting for Pflugerville ISD head coach position
Pflugerville ISD is inviting members from the community to Team Store at The Pfield, 1440 W. Pecan St., Pflugerville to talk about the vacant head coach position Wednesday night. Pflugerville ISD Athletic Director Todd Raymond and Pflugerville High School Principal Ameka Hunt will be in attendance to field questions and feedback from those in attendance.

2. Round Rock ISD to consider academic calendars
The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees will hear two options for the 2018-19 and 2019-2020 academic calendars at its meeting Thursday night. The major difference between the two calendars concerns the placement of professional development days for district employees. Both academic calendar drafts begin Aug. 16 and have the last instructional day occurring before Memorial Day.

3. Hutto ISD hears TASB policy updates
The Texas Association of School Boards has updated more than 100 pieces of policy that affect Hutto ISD, ranging from student transportation, to employee standards of conduct, to anti-bullying policies and more. The Hutto ISD Board of Trustees Thursday will also hear and possibly vote on updated policy concerning video monitoring and corporal punishment.

4. Williamson County Commissioners Court rescheduled for Thursday
Tuesday morning's regularly scheduled Williamson County Commissioners Court was rescheduled for Thursday morning due to expected severe weather. When the commissioners court reconvenes it will hear and possibly take action on a public investment agreement with the city of Hutto for necessary improvements to the city's Co-Op District, which is already under construction.

5. Hutto City Council holds second and final reading on wastewater rates
City of Hutto residents could possibly see a 25 percent increase on their utility bills in the upcoming months and Hutto City Council is holding the second and final reading on the amended rates at this Thursday's meeting. Many items are on the legislative body's agenda, including consideration of upgrades along Hwy. 79 for the Co-Op District and a Hotel Occupancy Tax agreement for the city's second annual KOKE FM KOKEFEST.
