1. Barktoberfest 2016
9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
This 14th annual event, hosted by the Central Texas Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is family- and dog-friendly. It features vendors, dog demos, food, a children’s area, free dog weight checks, microchipping service and door prizes.

2. Drug Take-Back Day
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Turn in your unused or expired medication for safe disposal. Round Rock Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) gives the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Over-the-counter and pet medications will also be accepted. Needles, syringes, thermometers, IV bags, medical devices and personal care products will not be accepted.

3. Community Baby Shower
10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
The community baby shower benefits the clients of Pflugerville Pregnancy Resource Center (PfPRC). The public can help PfPRC continue to serve pregnant women and new moms in need by participating in the community baby shower and bringing a gift to be used in their onsite baby boutique, or by making a monetary donation. New and gently used items are accepted. Items needed are baby clothing, sleepsacks, bath items, digital thermometers, car seats, strollers, diapers, baby wipes, baby toys, activity bouncers, cribs, crib bedding and gift cards. This is a come-and-go event.

4. Hairy Man Spooky Fest
11 a.m.-6 p.m.
The 22nd Annual Hairy Man Spooky Fest is a fun-filled day of food, arts and crafts fair with children’s activities, special performances and live music. There will be a costume contest, trick or treating, scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating, train rides, Halloween themed crafts, scary snacks station, and a new haunted house.

5. Satellite Fest
Noon - 10 p.m.
Satellite Communications is hosting its first curated festival for Texas brands. The lineup includes A Sundae Drive, April Ham Legion, The Dimaggios, The Ex-Optimists and Jay Satellite. All artists are playing original songs.

6. Trunk or Treat for children with various disabilities and limitations
5:30-7:30 p.m.
Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department along with Seton Williamson Pediatric Rehab will host the family friendly trick or treating event, where children trick or treat from car trunk to car trunk. Attendees should bring trick or treat bags. Costumes are encouraged.

7. Williamson County Symphony Orchestra Concert
7:30-9:30 p.m.

8. Red Horn Beer Dinner at Greenhouse Craft Food
6:30-8:30 p.m.
The event is the last five-course beer pairing dinner of 2016, prepared by chefs Rob Snow and Todd Engel at Greenhouse Craft Food.
