Three new housing options are already under construction and two more have been announced in the Northwest Austin area so far in 2018.


1. Live Oak on Spicewood Springs
Attached homes on Spicewood Springs Road

Wes Peoples Homes began sitework in November at Live Oak on Spicewood Springs, located behind the Randalls at 4323 Spicewood Springs Road, Austin. Construction on the buildings will start in April.

Homes will be priced starting in the low $500,000s, and the first units will be available in late 2018. Features include large walk-in showers, granite or quartz countertops, large utility rooms, a covered porch, fenced-in backyards and a game room or study. www.wespeopleshomes.com





2. Arbors at Turtle Rock
Townhomes on Anderson Mill Road

MileStone Community Builders confirmed construction is underway on 40 new townhomes in a new community called Arbors at Turtle Rock that is now selling in Northwest Austin.

The community, located at 15187 Turtle Rock Road, Austin, off Anderson Mill Road, offers 40 homes ranging in size from 1,449-2,182 square feet and starting at $260,000. A date for when homes will be available was not provided. 512-215-5220. www.mymilestone.com






3. Lenox Ridge
Apartments at Scofield Ridge Parkway and MoPac

Construction started Jan. 18 at 350 new apartments catered to the tech-heavy workforce in Northwest Austin.

Dubbed Lenox Ridge, the 10-acre site is located on the southeast corner of MoPac and Scofield Ridge Parkway just north of The Domain and adjacent to the Scofield Park at Austin apartments.

Lenox Ridge unit sizes will range from 600 square feet for a one bedroom, one bath unit to 1,380 square feet for a three bedroom, two bath unit. Rent prices are expected to range from $1,100-$2,000. The community is slated to open in early 2019. www.odenhughesllc.com






4. Gracy Grove at Gracy Farms
Single-family homes in North Austin

Wes Peoples Homes is developing a second community called Gracy Grove at Gracy Farms, located at 1601 1/2 Kathy Lynn Court, Austin, off Bittern Hollow north of Braker Lane. Construction on the 25 single-family homes will begin in late summer or early fall and be available in early 2019.

Homes will be priced in the mid $300,000s to mid-$400,000s and range in size from 1,690 to 2,700 square feet. www.wespeopleshomes.com





5. Austin Presidio development
New apartments by Streetlights Residential

Construction begins later in March on a 373-unit luxury multifamily community within the Austin Presidio development near the Lakeline MetroRail station.

StreetLights Residential purchased 8.5 acres within the Austin Presidio development for the project, real estate firm Transwestern announced March 9. The project is estimated to cost over $50 million and will be completed in early 2020.
