Porsche Austin
A 198,000-square-foot Porsche dealership is in the early stages of development at The Arboretum, 10000 Research Blvd., Austin. The facility will include a ve-story parking garage, a basement-level service center and a ground-level showroom, according to project manager Abbey Teeters with Gensler, the rm designing the dealership. The dealership aims to open in late 2019 or early 2020.
Junior League of Austin
The Junior League of Austin broke ground on its new 480,000-square-foot community center in January 2018 that will be completed by the end of summer 2019. The new two-story facility at 8501 Bluffstone Cove, Austin, off Capital of Texas Hwy., will house Junior League programs and events as well as serve as a function hall for the community to rent.
Elysium Grand
Elysium Grand, a 90-unit apartment complex at 3300 Oak Creek Drive, Austin, will be available by December 2019. The complex has 69 affordable housing units from studio and one to three bedrooms, a playground and a clubhouse. It will also have 25 units set aside for veterans.
Domain 12
Dallas-based TIER REIT owns office tower Domain 12 at 11700 Alterra Parkway, Austin, which is fully leased and will be completed by the end of 2019. The 320,000-square foot building is adjacent to recently completed Domain 11, which will be occupied by short- term rental company HomeAway.
Flatiron Domain
The Flatiron Domain, a 372-unit apartment complex at 10727 Domain Drive, Austin, broke ground in 2017 and will be completed in the spring. The project is spearheaded by StreetLights Residential and includes amenities such as a bar, a lounge, a fitness center and a swimming pool.
North Gateway Plaza
Capella Capital Partners, an Austin-based real estate development firm, will break ground on an office tower at 10615 Burnet Road, Austin, in late 2019. In May 2018, the development was announced as a 22-story high-rise tower with 285 apartment units and an 11-story office building as well as a shared seven-story parking garage. The multifamily tower was planned to total 320,000 square feet with 20,000 square feet for retail. Since then, plans have scaled back to no longer include any multifamily residential units. More details of the updated plan will be available in early 2019. The name of the development may change as well.
Springhill Suites
Lodgic Hospitality broke ground in late October on its fourth hotel in Northwest Austin at SpringHill Suites located at the Anderson Arbor Shopping Center, 13309 N. US 183, Austin, next to Main Event Entertainment, asset manager and investor Andy Patel said. The ve-story, 99-room hotel will open in late 2019 and cater to both the corporate and leisure traveler.
Pulte Homes
Pulte Homes has sold half the homesites at two communities in the Northwest Austin area. Preston Village near Wells Branch will have 200 homes at full buildout with homes priced in the low $300,000s to mid- $300,000s. Parmer Crossing north of SH 45 N will have 250 homes priced in the $320,000s to $400,000s. Construction on both communities started in late 2016, and both are located in Round Rock ISD.
Overture Arboretum
Senior living development Overture Arboretum at 10600 Jollyville Road, Austin, is now leasing and will be available by spring 2019. The 184-unit community is geared toward residents age 60 and older and houses amenities such as a tness center, salon, pool, theater and demonstration kitchen. The company also opened Overture Domain at 3100 Kramer Lane in June.
The Copeland
The Copeland, a 328-unit apartment complex at 2511 W. Braker Lane, Austin, near The Domain, will be available by summer 2019. Units are available in studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts and amenities include a tness center, a dog park, a club room and a swimming pool.
