1.  Third Thursdays at Domain Northside’s Rock Rose

Domain Northside’s Rock Rose continues its Third Thursdays series this month. Guests can enjoy live music by Mayeux & Broussard, take advantage of discounted happy hour specials from over 10 restaurants, and deals from local stores such as Raven + Lily and Viva Day Spa. 2. The Texas Department of Transportation hosts a public hearing for 10-year plan

Public feedback provided will help guide the development of the agency’s 2018 Unified Transportation Program, a 10-year plan for future construction projects. Comments are accepted until Aug. 21. 4 p.m. Free. TxDOT district office, 7901 N. I-35. www.txdot.gov.

3. Register to vote at Amy’s Ice Cream

4. Enjoy live music at Oskar Blues Brewery

5. Guided Sunset Bat Tours offer an up-close view

6. Make a Hope Pack for foster children

7. Participate in a citywide interactive playdate

Austin Parks and Recreation Department’s plans to host Keep Austin Playing, an event intended to inform the community about city programs that offer recreational activities for kids of all ages. 8. Attend iFly’s back-to-school bash

9. Celebrate Pluckers’ anniversary with 75-cent wings and dollar beers

Pluckers kicks off its 22nd anniversary week celebration on Sunday with 75-cent wings, $1 Miller Lite beers and staff dressed in ‘90s gear.  The festivities will continue throughout the week, culminating with National Chicken Wing Day on July 29.
