After opening its first brick-and-mortar location May 8, 2014, in Dripping Springs, the team behind Crepe Crazy plans to open its first Austin location in mid-September.

The eatery at 3103 S. Lamar Blvd. will offer a variety of sweet or savory crepes as well as seasonal soups and salads. Crepe Crazy also provides catering services and occasional baked goods.

Crepe Crazy's ownership, who hails from Russia and Ukraine, said they are dedicated to offering unique food with quality service. The owners and all of their employees are deaf, which is why the business has a "Point and Ye Shall Receive" sign in its original location. Communication between customers and employees is not an issue because of the system, both pointing and certain technologies, implemented by Crepe Crazy, General Manager Sergei Giterman said.
