Magnolia City Council and the Magnolia ISD board of trustees will hold elections on May 9 for several positions.

The city of Tomball has canceled its May 9 elections since both candidates for positions 2 and 4 ran unopposed. City Councilman Mark Stoll, Position 2, and City Councilman Derek Townsend, Position 4, have both been re-elected to serve third terms.

No positions on the Tomball ISD board of trustees are up for re-election in May.
