A representative confirmed Jan. 22 that
Kendra Scott will open a store at The Domain by the late spring.
The new location will feature the Austin-based jewelry retailer’s Color Bar, where customers may custom-design jewelry pieces such as earrings and necklaces. Customers will also be able to host parties at the Color Bar.
The Domain store will be located at 11506 Century Oaks Terrace, Ste. 108, in the former Blue Glue Bikinis spot, which closed last fall.

Another business expanding into North Austin is
Kebab Time. Owner Sefa Kara opened his second location Dec. 15 at 4101 W. Parmer Lane, Unit C.
The Turkish restaurant serves döner kebabs featuring meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Kebab Time also serves vegetarian options, such as falafel and dessert. Kara said Kebab Time serves a traditional doner kebab made with 80 percent lamb and 20 percent beef marinated in organic spices.
Kara, who is a former journalist from Turkey, said he moved to the U.S. 10 years ago and came to Austin for the business opportunities. He said he plans to open two more locations in 2015, one in Round Rock and one in South Austin. 512-345-4976.
