After much discussion the West Lake Hills City Council approved the final plat for the Juniper Ridge subdivision at its regular meeting Oct. 22.

The more than 15-acre, six-lot subdivision originally consisted of seven lots but was reduced to six at the request of a potential buyer.

The neighborhood is located at 806 Redbud Trail and, at the request of council, will be dark skies–compliant.

Keller Capital CEO Mitch Johnson, owner of the lot, said the development is sold out, but he is still taking backup offers. He said he expects construction on the roadway, located off Redbud Trail just north of Cedar Oak Drive, to start in November.
