JuiceLand, already with five locations throughout Austin, announced plans Nov. 21 to open a sixth juice bar in East Austin.

The new JuiceLand will open Dec. 1 at 2601 Cesar Chavez, Ste. A, in the former Good Flow Juice Factory location. The menu will be consistent with the other five locations, offering a variety of specialty drinks, cleanses and fresh vegetable and fruit juices.

"Our team is elated to open this location," JuiceLand owner Matt Shook said in a statement. "Having lived on Holly Street for several years, I have always had a certain affection with the East Cesar Chavez neighborhood. Serving that eclectic community feels like a homecoming of sorts for me personally."

The location will serve as JuiceLand's base of operations for its pre-made juices and food options, which will be dispersed daily to all six Austin locations.

Shook started JuiceLand in 2003 on Barton Springs Road when the business was called Daily Juice. He has since branched out, changing the name and updating the menu.
