A new Italian gelato shop will soon open its first Austin location on South First Street.

Dolce Neve, 1713 S. First St., will debut in early December at the former Schatzelein jewelry location with original, authentic recipes made using locally sourced ingredients, organic milk and no artificial flavorings, preservatives or thickeners, according to a news release. Approximately 20 rotating flavors of gelato will be available.

NOW OPEN—A new vintage boutique shop opened Nov. 2. Rave On Vintage, 1509 W. North Loop Blvd., specializes in 1950s and '60s mid-century modern furnishings, dcor, clothing and more.
