Six candidates filed to run for the two spots up for election on the Hutto ISD board of trustees.

Incumbents Byron McDaniel and Philip Boutwell are again running for positions on the school board. The other candidates that will be on the May 12 ballot include Stephen R. Konze Jr., Shamra Brown, Selica Granderson and Tate Lee Sellers.

All the places on the school board are at-large, and the two people who get the most votes will take the open spots.
