I was first introduced to the New Braunfels community in 2009 when I moved to San Marcos from Amarillo to attend Texas State University.

While earning my bachelor's degree in mass communication, I worked for a local business owner in New Braunfels, attended Wurstfest for the first time and enjoyed the local live music scene.

With fast-paced growth, a rich culture and tight-knit roots, this is an exciting time to be part of New Braunfels.

Our goal at Community Impact Newspaper is to make residents feel connected to the important things happening where they live, work and play. When you open our newspaper, you can expect to see the latest in local government, business, education, health care, transportation and new
development.

Between our monthly issues, keep up with us online at communityimpact.com/new-braunfels, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
