Unofficial final results show Eric Bergquist and Steve Minus winning seats on the New Braunfels ISD board of trustees for districts 3 and 5, respectively.

Incumbent Bergquist received 562 of 697 total early and election day votes cast while John Porter received 135.

Minus received 69.14% of the 1,066 votes cast while Niven received 18.98% and Grenier received 13.88%.

All results are unofficial until canvassed.

According to final unofficial results, Tim Hennessee and Courtney Biasatti have won seats on Comal ISD board of trustees Districts 1 and 2, respectively.

Hennessee received 60.57% of 492 total early and election day votes. Challengers Soto and Sauceda received 26.22% and 13.21% respectively.

Courtney Biasatti received 708 of 1,210 total early and election day votes while incumbent David Drastata received 502.

The first return of early voting totals from New Braunfels ISD show incumbent Eric Bergquist has taken the lead for the board of trustees in District 3 with 80% of all early votes over John Porter who has 20%. Bergquist received 360 early votes, while Porter received 90 early votes.

Steve Minus is in the lead for District 5 with 72.36% of early votes while Brian Grenier has 12.06% and Betty Niven has 15.58%. Of 701 early votes, Minus received 513, Grenier received 89 and Niven received 115.

In Comal ISD, early voting totals show Tim Hennessee taking the lead for board of trustees in District 1 with 61.46% of the votes over Brittany Soto who has 26.11% and Jerry Sauceda who has 12.42%. Of 314 early votes cast, Hennessee received 193, Soto received 82 and Sauceda received 39.


Courtney Biasatti is ahead of incumbent David Drastata for District 2 with 494, or 65.26%, of early votes. Drastata has 263.

Incumbent Michelle Ann Ross ran unopposed for District 5.

During the April 19-27 early voting period, 698 in-person ballots and 50 mail-in ballots were cast for the NBISD election, while 1,028 in-person and 82 mail-in ballots were cast for the CISD election.

Totals from ballots cast May 1 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., though voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots. Community Impact Newspaper will update this article as more election day vote totals are released.
